We believe that there should be a budget to suit everyone’s pocket, therefore we have 2 core designs of the retro kitchen, in brief and for those who understand cabinetry terms they are -
The In-Frame Retro range is an “in frame” or semi overlay door system, where the frame is fixed to the carcass and the door hinges off or in the frame. This method of manufacture is a traditional method of manufacture and more time consuming therefore more expensive.
The Lay-On Retro range is a “frameless” lay-on door system where there is no frame involved, this method is less time consuming therefore more cost effective.

Established in 2011, an idea born from a healthy mixture of youth and experience - A partnership created from 25 years in the cabinetry making business and 11 years in the Interior design scene.
Constantly looking to find something new and try something different, the idea of The Retro Kitchen Company was born - cabinetry and design inspired by colour and anything vaguely nostalgic, handmade in the UK by the finest joiners and craftsmen the East of England has to offer.
We pride ourselves on using the finest manufacturing methods and fusing them with interesting and different material selections, bringing back the “finest of the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s” - together with the latest technologies in appliances and kitchen accessories, a sort of classic car but with a new engine if you like.
The company is the younger, funkier & more trendy offspring of the established and traditional Henderson & Redfearn - Bespoke makers of handmade kitchens & cabinetry who for the last 25 years have been perfecting the art of cabinetry design and manufacture.
